FrameworX 10.1.5 is generally available as of 2026-05-26. This is the largest single release in the product line — AI is now a first-class platform pillar, the runtime moves to .NET 10 (LTS), the Unified Namespace becomes industrial-ontology-aware, and a fleet of new connectors, REST APIs, and enterprise IT tooling lands together. Free upgrade for every FrameworX 10.x customer.

Highlights
AI is now a platform pillar
Local AI joins OPC Server, MQTT Broker, and DataHub as a configurable platform service. The installer preconfigures qwen2.5:7b-instruct against a local Ollama endpoint with a one-click install path and a live reachability indicator. Operators and engineers get a Tatsoft-grade AI surface that runs on your hardware, on your network, behind your firewall — no cloud dependency, no data exfiltration, no per-seat AI subscription.
FrameworX AI Chat inside Displays and Scripts
Wire AI conversations directly into any operator screen. The new CHAT action verb binds a TextBox and Button to a query Tag and a reply Tag; the portable TChatSession Display control renders the conversation thread; the ChatRequest Script API dispatches chat requests programmatically. Plant operators conversing with the solution's own AI, over its own UNS data, in a single Display.
Drivable Designer for any MCP client
The Designer is now a fully drivable workspace for AI assistants. DesignerMCP lets an AI browse the object model, read and write any object, run import wizards, capture screenshots, and generate visual reports. The new ConsoleMCP ships a file-based JSON workspace surface with stdio and HTTP transports — no live Designer required, ideal for CI and headless authoring. RuntimeMCP exposes live tag values, alarms, and history to AI agents. Three MCP surfaces, one platform.
Industrial-ontology-aware Unified Namespace
Tags, UserTypes, and member definitions now carry first-class semantic metadata — display text, labels, ontology source links. A new Designer importer reads RDF/OWL files straight into UserTypes and Tags. Export the UNS as RDF/JSON, JSON-LD, Turtle, or N-Triples for GraphDB, Stardog, Fuseki, or any ontology store. Your SCADA / HMI / Historian object model speaks the same vocabulary as the rest of the enterprise: RDF, OWL 2, SKOS, ISA-88, ISA-95, and the Industrial Ontology Foundry (IOF).
MongoDB, QuestDB, and Sorba.AI connectors
MongoDB ships as a unified four-role connector — Device protocol, UNS TagProvider, Historian StorageLocation, Dataset provider — in a single driver. QuestDB ships as a unified three-role time-series connector with high-throughput ILP/HTTP ingest. Sorba.AI arrives as a bidirectional ML connector with 11 machine-learning algorithm UserTypes pre-loaded — pipe live UNS values to Sorba models, stream predictions back through the same TagProvider, no custom glue code. One configuration, one set of credentials, one mental model per database.
REST APIs for runtime data and solution management
Two new REST API surfaces. The Runtime API v1.0 on TServer exposes live tag values, alarm state, historian queries, and aggregated history with Bearer-GUID authentication and an OpenAPI 3.0 spec. The SolutionCenter API v1.0 on TWebServices covers Solutions, Files, License, Machine, and Server operations with JWT / OIDC authentication. Data plane and management plane, cleanly separated, both first-class HTTP citizens for partner and enterprise IT integrations.
Enterprise SSO and Kubernetes-ready runtime
Industry-standard Single Sign-On via OIDC / OAuth2 integrates with Keycloak, Auth0, Microsoft Entra ID, and login.gov. Both TServer and TWebServices expose Kubernetes-compatible /health and /ready probes. The new Tatsoft.FrameworX PowerShell module v1.0.0, silent-install installer, TManageServices CLI, and UpgradeSolution.exe support scripted enterprise deployment via SCCM, Intune, Ansible, or PowerShell DSC — documented end-to-end in the new IT Deployment Runbook.
Runtime on .NET 10, AI Tutor, and multi-language IDE
The runtime ships on .NET 10 (Microsoft's current LTS) at no charge for every FrameworX 10.x customer. The new AI Tutor delivers structured, interactive learning inside the Designer across three tiers — Essentials, Professional, Expert — with persistent per-user progress and completion certificates (Associate, Professional, Expert). Solution Center and Designer are now fully localizable, with bundled translation files and a Claude-powered .mui translation toolchain that keeps product nouns in English across every locale.
For Control Engineers
- Unified TRadialGauge replaces three legacy circular gauges with four presets and tag-driven range boundaries; TKnowledgeGraph renders ontology and asset relationships as Mermaid or Cytoscape graphs.
- Trend Annotations let operators place inline timestamped, commented markers on Trend Chart pens — visible to anyone reviewing the same time range.
- GIS and CAD tag importers turn GeoJSON, Shapefile, KML, DXF, and DWG files into native UNS tags and Displays in one wizard pass.
- Display Connector tool restored with clipboard, undo, delete; faster Display open; MQTT Sparkplug B publish-by-name decoupled from Store-and-Forward.
- New embedded Visual Query Editor in the Datasets page — drag tables, joins, columns, and filters with full Designer theming.
For System Integrators
- Within-major 100% compatibility — every 10.1.x solution opens and runs on 10.1.5 without migration.
UpgradeSolution.exeupgrades legacy 10.1.4 solutions with named-backup preservation and failure-safety. - ConsoleMCP workspaces turn a folder of JSON files into a runnable
.dbsln— ready for Git, code review, and CI pipelines. - WebData module unifies REST, GraphQL, and MCP-client access from inside the runtime — call other MCP servers from Scripts, Tasks, or Displays.
- JSON Import Mirror Sync propagates source-file deletions to the target solution — making JSON exports a viable Git source of truth.
For IT and DevOps
- Kubernetes-grade health endpoints (
/health,/ready) on TServer and TWebServices for liveness and readiness probes. - Tatsoft.FrameworX PowerShell module v1.0.0 wraps the installer,
TManageServicesCLI, and SolutionCenter API for scripted enterprise deployment. - OIDC / OAuth2 SSO with Keycloak, Auth0, Microsoft Entra ID, and login.gov.
- SQL injection hardening in InfoService ADOAPIService and a new
PARAMSprefix for safe parameterized Dataset queries against untrusted inputs. - IT Deployment Runbook covers install, configure, monitor, update end-to-end for Windows .NET 10 deployments.
For AI and Data Teams
- Local AI service with Ollama integration — bring your own model, run on your hardware, no per-seat cloud cost.
- DesignerMCP, ConsoleMCP, RuntimeMCP — three MCP surfaces that let an AI client browse, author, and read live data across the full FrameworX object model.
- Ontology-aware UNS with RDF/OWL import and RDF/JSON, JSON-LD, Turtle, N-Triples export.
- Runtime REST API v1.0 for live tag values, alarms, and history — partner integrations and notebook analytics no longer need to talk a SCADA protocol to reach the data.
- Sorba.AI bidirectional ML connector with 11 ML algorithm UserTypes pre-loaded.
