Overview

The UNS Connections Monitor page shows the status of the TagProvider Connections used by the solution. There are two tabs: Data Browser and Runtime Status.

On this page:

Data Browser

Data Browser allows monitoring data sources outside the solution, external data that are not in the solution yet. The MQTT folder displays data from a broker outside the solution, and the OPC folder displays data from an external OPC server.

Filters options

Filtering options by TagProvider and Path.

Actions

Reload the Tree: it refreshes tag listing.

New TagProvider Connection: it defines a tag source allowing configure parameters and establishes data access.

Insert data from TagProvider option: it streamlines external data integration and asset population.

Map Elements to new local Tags: Links data objects to local tags.

Runtime Status

The status are updated only when there is a solution running and the Designer is connected with that Runtime.

  • Namespace: The Namespace that your TagProvider have imported.
  • Name: The name of the devices your TagProvider are using.
  • CurrentStation: Displays the station that is currently being monitored.
  • Disable: Indicates whether the asset is disabled. A disabled asset won't function until it is re-enabled.
  • IsConnected: Reveals whether the asset is currently connected or not.
  • ConnectionStatus: Provides detailed information about the connection's status, ensuring users understand if there is any issue or if everything is functioning as expected.
